This decree organises social support for residents of the Caribbean Netherlands. The aim is to enable them to live independently at home for as long as possible and to participate in society. It also regulates that citizens and professionals can go to an advisory and reporting point for domestic violence and child abuse (HGKM) in case of signals. It also establishes reporting rights for professionals and requires certain organisations to adopt an HGKM protection code.
